Brown Paintings by Me
I am going back to experimenting with the compost humus ink I was making in the Summer and putting in bits of the garden in, which contains semi recycled coffee capsules and egg shells. I have not worried too much about it being on commercially bought paper, as I find using all the materials from the compost at once just makes it look too much like compost and difficult to make anything visually compelling. These are just experiments and I will see where they go…
I forgot about these for a while and spent ages looking for them eventually found them flattening between two heavy books. Too much work going on simultaneously that I just lose piles of drawings…
I rinsed off all the stuff still attached and saw the BBQ scraper on the draining board so I gave them a good scrape and discovered grill accessories make for really good mark making tools. I need to make some more compost goo ink to play more with these. They are hard edged and commercial with defined edges but Rome wasn’t built in a day.
