Indigo compost printing

Painting the paper lace feels like a turning point, as the recycled paper is so ugly without. I love pure white paper but it doesn’t fit with the materiality but I have started to soak some clean white watercolour paper anyway to see how it is different and just for the fun of it. I have painted the little sponge critters, which I have been making since last year, entirely unsatisfactorily, and now that they are indigo I love them. Will be making lots. They might make an indigo colony creeping up the wall for the final show, perhaps.
