Landscape Drawing on Zoom | Atmosphere (Bookings now closed)

£12.00
Sold Out

Drawing on Zoom sessions are 90 minutes, once per month on a Tuesday evening 7-8.30pm UK time. Sessions include an introduction and sometimes a short demonstration about a particular topic followed by some shorter, warm up exercises and some longer, more focussed exercises. These sessions are recorded and if you book the live session you will receive the recording the following day or if you miss the live session you can purchase the recording afterwards. We usually switch off the recording at the end of live sessions and have a Q&A session and general chat and anyone who wishes to can share their work. All levels are welcome! Zoom link and other useful information will be sent out 24 hours before the live session. See you then!

For this session on Atmosphere I would recommend working on paper with any blendable materials you have including soft pastels, charcoal, inks or watercolours. We are aiming for softer marks that can be blended so marker pens or anything that makes sharp, hard lines aren’t recommended. I would also recommend a wide, flat paint brush if you have one but don’t worry if not. Something like this would do the job but please just use whatever you have to hand or at least watch the session first before buying anything. A few tissues or old cloths might be useful to create soft, blended atmospheres.
