Landscape Drawing on Zoom | Coastal Landscapes

£12.00

In this session on drawing coastal landscapes there will be around 40 minutes of discussion and recorded demonstrations and around 40 minutes of drawing exercises that we will do together. I provide images to work from for the exercises but if you have your own photos you would like to use, that’s fine too.

Materials: no specific materials are required and I urge participants to use whatever they have lying around. We will consider transitions where water and land meet, which can be different depending on where we live. Think about colours you associate with coastal areas near you, or coastlines of your memory and imagination. Aim for a few materials that could speak to coastal landscapes: perhaps pencil, ink, charcoal or coloured dry materials such as pencils, pastels or anything else you have.

Sessions are recorded and you have 3 months to catch up on the session if you can’t join live. For those who are there live there will be an opportunity to ask questions and share work once the recording has stopped. I look forward to seeing you then!
